“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise…” — Proverbs 13:20
The greatest gift a leader can give is not words, wealth, or position—it is time. Time is where life is transferred. A good leader doesn’t just instruct from a distance; he walks with others, shaping them through presence.
Jesus spent three and a half years walking with His disciples. They learned truth not only from sermons, but from shared moments—asking questions, watching His reactions, and seeing faith lived out daily.
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” — Proverbs 27:17
Every man feels the pressure of a busy schedule. Yet Scripture calls us to be intentional:
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:16
How we use our time reveals our priorities—and we are always reproducing ourselves in those we influence, for good or for bad. Leadership is not accidental. It is deliberate.
Walk wisely. Invest purposefully. Lead visibly.
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 11:1
The question is simple:
Who is becoming more like Christ because you gave them your time?
