In Acts 8, we see what happens when persecution scatters the church and God turns apparent defeat into divine deployment. While others hesitated, Philip responded. When the Lord spoke, he obeyed.
Philip Answers God’s Call reminds us that the church is unstoppable not because of programs, talent, or strategy, but because ordinary believers choose obedience. Philip was not an apostle. He was not a famous preacher. He was an ordinary servant who simply said yes when God said go.
Through this passage, we learn that:
-
Every Christian is a missionary
-
Obedience often requires leaving comfort behind
-
Divine appointments are orchestrated by the Holy Spirit
-
One act of surrender can influence generations
-
True obedience produces joy and spiritual fruit
Philip had no idea how God would use his willingness to reach one searching soul. Yet his obedience helped open doors for the Gospel far beyond what he could see.
This message challenges each of us to examine our surrender. Are we usable? Are we available? When God prompts our hearts, do we delay—or do we run?
The Unstoppable Church is made up of believers who mean it when they say, “Wherever He leads, I will go.”
