Acts 1:12–25

When the early church gathered in the upper room after Jesus’ ascension, they were a diverse group — apostles, family members, men and women, new believers and seasoned followers. Yet Scripture says they continued “with one accord in prayer and supplication.” That unity of heart, purpose, doctrine, and prayer prepared them to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and used by God in world-shaping ways. This message explores how the church in Acts modeled spiritual harmony, obedience, surrender, and dependence on God’s Word — and how the same principles can strengthen and unify Christ’s church today.
