In Acts 6 and 7 we meet Stephen, a faithful servant, fearless preacher, bold proclaimer, and victorious martyr. He did not wear a royal crown on earth, but he received a Stephanos, the victor’s crown given for faithfulness.

This message explores the powerful difference between a diadema, a royal crown, and a Stephanos, a crown earned through steadfast obedience. Stephen’s life shows us what it means to be faithful in service, fearless in speech, grounded in Scripture, and steadfast in suffering.

When pressure came, Stephen did not compromise. He shined. When stones were thrown, he prayed. When death approached, he saw glory.

“Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10
