June was a month filled with opportunities to serve, celebrate, and continue reaching our community with the gospel. We are thankful for God's continued blessings on GracePointe Baptist Church NOVA and are excited to share a few highlights from the past month.
We were honored to recognize our high school graduates during our Graduation Sunday service. As they begin a new season of life, our church family joined together in praying for God's wisdom, guidance, and blessing upon each of them.
On Father's Day, we took time to recognize and thank the fathers and father figures in our church. We are grateful for the godly men who faithfully lead their families and serve the Lord through their example and commitment.
Pastor and Mrs. Mix completed several successful ministry trips during June. One of the highlights was picking up 20,000 John & Romans that will be used as part of our evangelism outreach throughout Northern Virginia. They also participated in several encouraging deputation meetings, sharing the vision and ministry of GracePointe Baptist Church NOVA with churches and supporters.
Following the launch of our weekly podcast in May, we're excited that our messages are now available on Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music, in addition to our existing platforms. This expansion allows even more people to hear biblical preaching and stay connected with the ministry of GracePointe throughout the week.
Throughout June, our church family worked diligently to prepare for Vacation Bible School. Volunteers spent countless hours decorating, organizing materials, inviting families, and praying for the children and parents who will attend. We are thankful for everyone who contributed their time and talents to this important outreach.
It has been a blessing to welcome several new individuals and families to our services this month. We thank God for each visitor and pray that GracePointe will continue to be a place where people experience biblical preaching, genuine fellowship, and the love of Christ.
As our congregation continues to grow, we remain prayerful that God will provide a permanent church home for GracePointe Baptist Church NOVA. We are thankful for His faithfulness thus far and trust that He will continue to direct our steps according to His perfect plan.
As we look ahead to July, we are excited for Vacation Bible School, continued evangelism throughout our community, and all that the Lord has in store. Thank you to everyone who faithfully prays, serves, gives, and invites others to be part of what God is doing through GracePointe Baptist Church NOVA.
